Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Prof. Dr. Stevo Mirjanic, along with his associates, today on October 6, 2015, in the framework of his working visit to the municipality of Teslic, visited lumber camp "Borja". At a meeting with representatives of the lumber camp , they talked about the financial-production plan for this year. At the meeting, Minister pointed out that this enterprise is one of the gossamer within the "Forests of Republic of Srpska" and that it meets financial-production plan completely. Representatives of forest holdings have informed the Minister about the positive business this year, but they also highlighted the need for additional modernization of production and technological advances for improvement of production quality.
During his visit to the municipality of Teslic, Minister Mirjanic visited the chemical industry "Distillation”. When he visited the “Distillation” the Minister pointed out that this industry is an important strategic partner of the "Forest of the Republic of Srpska" as the single largest buyer of this enterprise. "Forests of Republic of Srpska" and the "Distillation" have an annual contract for delivery of 100,000 cubic meters of wood assortments.
