Minister Mirjanic on the meeting with representatives of the Poultry Association in Republic of Srpska

​Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Srpska, Stevo Mirjanic, stated that the Line Ministry in cooperation with Veterinary offices of BiH will take all necessary measures in order to create legal and economic conditions to export poultry products to the international market.

“This primarily relates to the safety of  food , and this means meeting the conditions of the facilities for the production of meat and eggs and slaughterhouses , or final processing capacities.”,  Mirjanic stated to the “Srna” after the meeting with representatives of the Poultry Association in Republic of Srpska.
Mirjanic stressed that the Ministry of Agriculture has launched a number of questions regarding this topic, and that the biggest issue is related to the export of eggs and salmonella.
With Poultry Association of  Srbac, Line Minister also talked about incentives for the coming year, which, as minister Mirjanic stated, shall not be less than this years’.
"The point is, poultry , and other manufacturers , must create such a productive environment for its production achieved positive results , and that incentives or support of the state serve to enhance and expand production" said Mirjanić .
He added that the support of the state should in no way serve to cover any costs of the business done by poultries.
