Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Prof. Dr. Stevo Mirjanic visited today, on 30.09.2015, the first day of the working visit to Herzegovina, dairy in Bilecka - "Padjeni". The Minister together with the mayor of Bileca , Miljan Aleksic, toured the manufacturing facility and met with the management of the dairy. On this occasion, Minister Mirjanic expressed satisfaction with the volume of production, working methods and high quality products, and stressed that this company should serve as an example, it employs eighty workers and it has more than 900 subcontractors. The company is in constant developmen , from year to year it doubles its production and because of that line ministry supported a project of procurement of heifers. Seventy heifers will be given to the municipality of Bileca and to the neighboring municipalities that are present in the area will be granted 100 in total. In addition, Minister Mirjanic said that in the upcoming days, in all municipalities, inventarisation of free land will be made, primarily the inventarisation of land owned by state, and that this land will be made available to the farmers who work for the job market.
Owner of the diary "Padjeni", Nenad Vukoje, said that the EU Commission in the upcoming days will visit the facilities and that after that he will be expecting a final answer on the question of export of milk to the EU.
Minister Mirjanic will tomorrow, on the second day of his working visit to Herzegovina, visit the company "Ljekobilje", a dairy farm owned by Ilija Stankovic, the monastery "Tvrdos" and the company "Popovo polje".
