A Public Call funded within the EU4Agri project has been launched for the support measure of investing in primary agricultural production.
The Call aims to:
- strengthen production competitiveness and increase the level of productivity of primary agricultural production through modernisation and introduction of new technologies, innovations, and creation of added value of agricultural products;
- improve product quality, hygiene and food safety by introducing quality standards;
- promote good business practices (agricultural, occupational safety conditions, etc.) and sustainable development by improving natural resource management, environmental protection, worker protection and food safety;
- mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensure the supply of processing capacities with raw materials and domestic consumers with fresh products, and use the new business opportunities for domestic positioning and access to new markets.
The Public Call is open to self-employed entrepreneurs, cooperatives and companies engaged in primary agricultural production.
The total budget of the Call is BAM 3.5 million, with grant amounts per project ranging from BAM 15,000 to 300,000.
The deadline for submitting applications is 31 January 2023 by 15:00 hrs.
