The Ministry for Refugees and Displaced Persons of the Republic of Srpska financed the first phase of construction of the Social Centre in Ortijes near Mostar. The project is worth 170, 000 BAM, and the Government of the Republic of Srpska will finance the second phase.
“We talked with the returnees in Mostar at the beginning of this year and agreed on the construction and financing of this project, which is now being implemented. The first phase of this project worth 80,000 BAM will be completed by the end of this year”, said Minister Cordas.
The Minister for Refugees and Displaced Persons of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Davor Čordaš invited the authorities of the Mostar and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton to get involved in this project.
The Ministry for Refugees and Displaced Persons of the Republic of Srpska began implementing the projects of construction of social and cultural homes in the Republic of Srpska four years ago due to the fact that the returnees had a big problem when it came to gathering.
