The Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Srpska, Đorđe Popović, met with the General Manager of the Company "M: tel", Marko Lopičić, in Banja Luka today.

Popović and Lopičić have discussed about open issues and current problems that are affecting business operation of this telecom operator, as well as the future activities and plans for further development of the telecommunications sector in the Republic of Srpska and BiH.

Popović and Lopičić have confirmed their commitment to paying particular attention to opening up the opportunities for large investments into the optical network and in other services this provider offers in the market of the Republic of Srpska and BiH.

Also, they reiterated the good cooperation the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Srpska and the Company "M:Tel" have had for years, and a clear commitment to have this cooperation be even better and more intensive in the oncomming period.
