Government of Republika Srpska adopted the Decision on the implementation of multilateral compensation and cession, which determines the schedule of multilateral compensation that will be held during 2023. As was the case in previous years, a total of six compensations will be organized every two months, starting from February.

These individual decisions are made by the Government of the Republic of Srpska for each subsequent year with the aim of increasing the liquidity of the economy of the Republic of Srpska, and in accordance with the Law on the Unified System for Multilateral Compensation and Cessions, which has been implemented since 2015.

The last multilateral compensation was realized on December 13, and in it a total of BAM 15.5 million of liabilities and claims were compensated, and 429 participants participated.

Since the adoption of the Law on Multilateral Compensation and Cession, a total of one billion and 105 million KM of undisputed monetary obligations and claims between entities registered in the Unified System for Multilateral Compensation and Cession have been compensated.
