Having continued consultations with social partners on formation of the new Government of Republic of Srpska, Prime Minister Designate Radovan Višković spoke today in Banja Luka with delegation of the Trade Unions Association of Republic of Srpska led by its President, Ranka Mišić.
During the meeting, Mr. Višković informed the representatives of the Trade Unions about the key program principles
of the future government and pointed out that they would actively work on
finding high-quality social policies, which, among other things, include preparation of so-called social cards.
Prime Minister Designate Višković also indicated that one of the
priorities will be adoption of a general collective agreement which would
contribute to further improvement of the position of employees in Republic of Srpska. At the same time, Mandate Višković stressed that the focus of the
future government's activities would be active fight to suppress the
"grey economy", in order to simultaneously increase budget revenues
and further improve the position of workers.
On the other hand, representatives of the Trade Unions emphasized the need for a contnued dialogue with future Government on drafting of
a general collective agreement and constant active work toward improving the financial position of all workers in Republic of Srpska.
